So my teacher told us that two blue eyed people can’t have a brown eyed kid and this kid in my class said “but both my parents have blue eyes and I have brown eyes”. The teacher said “so you’re adopted”. THe next day the kid came in and told us that he confronted his parents about it and that they said he was adopted but wanted to wait for the right time to tell him.
It’s crazy how much of my happiness hinges on the happiness of others. Not the way most of you may be thinking as you read that but just listening to people laugh, seeing them smile, hearing them and watching them enjoy life, obviously and outspokenly, at that very moment. It really makes me one happy mother fucker; whether it’s just for a second or if it’s beautiful enough to make my entire day, I love it, through and through. I think that’s 90% of what I live for. Those moments of ignorantly shared happiness. They make my everything.
